The (Colored) Chaos Of Unreality
Number one in the Trilogy
Sometimes the mind does not merely bend reality - it rebuilds it!Thoughts lose their familiar boundaries. Ordinary objects gather strange meanings, time behaves unpredictably and connections appear where none existed before. to one person
What seems impossible to one person may feel undeniable to another. This can be the lived experience of psychosis, mania, severe depression, trauma or overwhelming anxiety: an inner world so powerful that it alters how the outer world is understood.
From the outside, it may look like confusion or chaos, From within, it can feel frighteningly coherent.
The Chaos of Unreality gives visual form to that disordered landscape. Its contradictions, fractured logic and impossible encounters reflect a mind struggling to separate perception from distortion. Yet among the upheaval, color and imagination remain. The person has not disappeared beneath the illness, they are still there, trying to find solid ground in a world that no longer follows familiar rules.
Mental illness should never make someone an object of fear and ridicule. When another persons reality becomes unstable, they need compassion, patience and appropriate support - not judgement.
Behind every altered perception is a human being worthy of being heard, respected and helped home.
